lyrics

Hung on the walls of the gallery still.
Breath held to make instants flash,
soon forgetting.
Between fingers lacing, the eyes
see never more
than carried creatures
taken to - given for the feast, the awful marriage
of a lens and turning body.
All catch this, seize what
took to last.
Limbs left looking for their past.
Driftwood lifting the funeral mast.
The seaside cove of visions,
outliving them all.

about

Andrea Lucia Boston, Massachusetts

Andrea Lucia is a highly interdisciplinary artist, weaving her poetry, music and visual imagination into a composed space.

Her music is built from the sounds of her piano, cello, guitar, flute, oud, violin, bass, percussion, and breath.

All that is heard within the music is a sketch,
a story, a conversation, or a dream.
