The mountain sees the mind as it lifts
instances up on the rocks, up over 
breaks of earth. Body falling, sick
 from the dream colours frozen ahead.
 Down at the sundial, we let hours
 find and darken our belonging moments.
Down where the roots were planted
 and where our heads lie, rest, still reaching. 
We do want what knows us 
yet keeps us far away.
 As time-finders and time-keepers
 we love as shapes unweld.
 Up on the mountain,
 where we break ourselves open.
